Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Full Page Screenshot (“the Extension”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall the Extension and discontinue use immediately.
These Terms apply to all users of the Extension, including visitors to this website (fullpagescreenshotting.com).
Description of Service
Full Page Screenshot is a free Chrome extension that captures full-page screenshots of webpages. The Extension provides the following functionality:
- Automatic scrolling and stitching to capture entire webpages as a single image, including lazy-loaded content.
- A built-in editor with seven annotation tools: text, arrows, rectangles, circles, freehand drawing, blur, and a selection tool.
- Export capabilities in PNG, JPG, WebP, and PDF formats with adjustable quality settings.
- A screenshot history that stores your recent captures locally for quick access.
The Extension operates entirely within your browser and does not require an account, internet connection (after installation), or any form of registration.
Permitted Use
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Extension for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may use the Extension to capture screenshots of webpages for any lawful purpose.
Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Extension.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Extension.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Extension.
- Use the Extension to capture content you do not have the right to copy, reproduce, or distribute.
- Redistribute, sublicense, sell, lease, or otherwise transfer the Extension to any third party.
- Use the Extension in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
- Use the Extension to infringe on the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
Intellectual Property
The Extension, including its code, design, user interface, graphics, and documentation, is the exclusive property of its authors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Your content: Screenshots you capture using the Extension belong to you. We claim no ownership or rights over content you create, capture, annotate, or export using the Extension. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and use the content.
The Full Page Screenshot name, logo, and branding are proprietary and may not be used without prior written consent.
User Responsibility
The Extension is a tool for capturing screenshots. You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the legal right to capture, store, and distribute any content you screenshot.
- Complying with copyright, trademark, privacy, and other applicable laws when using captured content.
- Handling sensitive or confidential information captured in screenshots with appropriate care.
- Using the blur tool or cropping to redact sensitive information before sharing screenshots.
We are not liable for how you use the screenshots you capture. Misuse of the Extension to infringe on others' rights is strictly prohibited.
Data & Privacy
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All screenshots, preferences, and history data are stored locally in your browser. For complete details, see our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Extension will capture every webpage completely or accurately.
- The Extension will be compatible with all websites, frameworks, browser versions, or configurations.
- The Extension will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors or bugs.
- The results obtained from using the Extension will be accurate or reliable.
Some webpages use techniques (such as canvas rendering, WebGL, or complex iframe structures) that may prevent complete or accurate screenshot capture. We make best-effort attempts to handle edge cases but cannot guarantee results for all pages.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the authors of Full Page Screenshot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or screenshots.
- Loss of profits or business opportunities.
- Business interruption or downtime.
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your locally stored data.
- Any damages resulting from your reliance on the Extension.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
Updates & Modifications
The Extension may be updated from time to time through the Chrome Web Store. Updates may include bug fixes, new features, performance improvements, or changes to functionality. Chrome will automatically apply updates unless you have disabled automatic extension updates.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Extension.
Continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes to functionality or these Terms.
Termination
You may terminate your use of the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome. Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data, including screenshots, preferences, and history. This action is irreversible.
We reserve the right to request removal of the Extension from the Chrome Web Store at any time, which would prevent new installations but would not affect existing installations.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
