The person behind it
Hi, I'm Kaushik Prasath.
I build Full Page Screenshot, a Chrome extension that captures a whole webpage in one click. It is free, it has no account, and nothing you capture ever leaves your computer.
I am a software engineer who ended up building products instead. After twenty-odd of them, I have a strong preference for small tools that remove one daily irritation over large ones that promise to change how you work, and this is firmly the first kind.
The interesting part was never taking the screenshot. It was everything around it: sticky headers that would otherwise repeat forty times down a long capture, images that only load once you scroll to them, cookie banners sitting over the thing you actually wanted, and a blur that has to survive into the exported file rather than merely look convincing on screen. Those are the problems I kept returning to, and they are why the extension works the way it does.
It is free and nothing you capture leaves your computer. Both of those were decided before I wrote any code, and I have not found a reason to revisit either.

How I build it
Nothing leaves your computer
Captures are taken, edited and exported entirely in your browser. There is no server to upload to, because there is no server. The extension works with no internet connection at all, which is the simplest proof of the claim.
No account, ever
You never sign up, and there is nothing to sign up to. I have no idea who uses this, and that is deliberate rather than a feature I have not got round to building.
Free, without a catch waiting
There is no premium tier, no trial timer and no feature held back. If that changes one day it will be by adding something new, never by taking away something you already rely on.

Get in touch
I read and answer everything.
Bug reports, feature requests, press questions, or someone telling me the capture broke on a page I have never seen. All of it comes to [email protected], and it reaches me rather than a queue.
If something the extension does is unclear or looks wrong, that is worth telling me about. Reviews are useful, but an email describing the page that broke is what actually gets it fixed.
Ready to capture everything?
Free forever. No account. No tracking. Just the screenshot tool you've been looking for.
